Shooting PD Showreel

Working on the BBC One Show, Channel 4 and for NBC Universal, and recognised by Raindance and the Independent Film Trust as for 'Undiscovered Talent', receiving support from these two institutions through 25X25 and the Vertical Lab, and going on to mentor the new upcoming filmmakers. Alya’s award-winning work has been screened for two years running at the Raindance Film Festival and supported by Screenskills.

Non-fiction storytelling is my passion: pushing the boundaries of non- fiction storytelling, with the aim of cultivating social change.

Outside of Alya’s decade in non-fiction Shooting PD work, she works as a camera operator & in lighting across corporate & music working with clients such as Dior, Disney, Wray & Nephews.
